Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee the overall financial operations of WPS Japan Legal Person, including general ledger management, accounts receivable and payable, payroll calculation, expense control, tax accounting, fund management, contract review and other core work. Ensure the full financial process complies with relevant regulations and internal control requirements, in line with Japan's "Corporate Law", "Tax Law" and the company's internal management standards.
2. Lead or deeply participate in the establishment and optimization of Japan's financial system (such as accounting system formulation, ERP system implementation, compliance process improvement), build a financial framework that meets Japan's local legal and tax requirements to support the long-term development of the business.
3. Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement), provide professional financial analysis and decision support, coordinate with China Headquarters for financial reporting, and promote the in-depth integration of finance and business.
4. Responsible for budget preparation and rolling forecast, monitor the budget execution, identify financial risks and put forward optimization suggestions. With a Financial Business Partner (BP) perspective, provide targeted financial support for Japan's business operations.
5. Act as the core coordinator, establish efficient communication mechanisms with internal and external partners such as local banks, tax authorities, audit institutions, legal and HR departments in Japan, and solve localized financial necessary matters.
6. Assist the Head of Finance of China Headquarters in managing the overseas financial work team, coordinate domestic financial colleagues in a dotted-line manner, promote the collaboration of financial work between China and Japan, and ensure smooth information flow and work implementation. Undertake practical work such as budget management and approval & payment to ensure the closed-loop of financial work.
7. Possess a forward-looking perspective. In the future, relying on international vision, support the company's business expansion in Southeast Asia, and balance the management of Japan's business and the overall financial coordination of Southeast Asia (according to business development needs).

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related majors, with solid professional knowledge of Japanese finance and a framework of compliance knowledge.
2. Years of financial work experience, with rich experience in budget management, comprehensive financial practical operations and cross-departmental collaboration. Holders of Japan Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate are preferred; those without CPA certificate must have sufficient mature financial professional capabilities to support the full-process work.
3. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Japanese (required), able to independently complete financial report writing and internal and external communication; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
4. Company Background Preference: Priority is given to candidates with experience in comprehensive financial positions in medium-sized companies with certain systematic frameworks; for candidates from large companies, experience in FPN/AF/PNA related positions is required; candidates with comprehensive financial experience in Japanese subsidiaries of overseas listed companies are the most preferred.
5. Priority is given to candidates with financial BP background, who can be down-compatible with daily financial management work, have good implementation capabilities, and are not inclined to those who only focus on coordination and avoid practical work.
6. Possess international vision, able to adapt to business trips at least once a quarter (ideally once a month for communication), with strong comprehension ability, and able to maintain synchronized communication with the Head of Finance of China Headquarters.
7. Proficient in mainstream Japanese financial software (such as JDL, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle), with good communication and coordination skills, problem-solving ability and pressure resistance, able to independently deal with complex financial scenarios; experience in financial work in multinational enterprises or TMT industry (Technology, Media, Telecommunications) is a plus.
