【Job description】
You will be responsible for the collection, construction and operation of the analysis platform for accounting and management data submitted by customers (mainly SMEs and start-ups).
Specifically, you will be responsible for the design and development of data pipelines using Snowflake/dbt, etc., and the construction of operational flows.
They have already built a data pipeline, but migration is required to suit the current business situation.
In addition to practical work, they would like you to discuss with the CTO and data team leader the following data processing issues specific to their business domain as you proceed with your work.
- Smooth processing of differences in account items and data formats
- Improved realtimeness and stream processing of data processing
After joining the company, you will first be asked to work on the data platform, but depending on the situation of the development organization, they also expect you to work on product development for their own products and new businesses in the future.
The current development organization is as follows.- Engineering team: 1 manager, 3 engineers, 1 contractor
- Data science team: 1 manager, 2 data scientists, 1 data analyst, 2 contractors
(Meetings, Notion, Slack, etc.) When discussing requirements and specifications, communication with business side members (reviewers, CS members, etc.) also occurs in Japanese.
【Core Requirements】- Experience in the development and operation of data pipelines
- The length of practical experience is not specified, but the ability to learn and acquire necessary skills ad knowledges through study and research as needed
- Over 5 years of practical experience in system development involving coding
- Practical experience using SQL or equivalent knowledge
- Ability to code in basic Python
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge and experience
- English proficiency to communicate smoothly with both technical/non technical members
- Japanese ability: Business (N2)
