Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will be hands on in identifying, evaluating, recommending, implementing and maintaining cybersecurity security tools. In this role you will support a secure network infrastructure that implements security controls for the perimeter, internal network, endpoints, cloud, and remote access. The senior engineer is responsible for engineering solutions to address identified security risks, partnering with development teams to ensure the security of new and updated applications, and supporting incident responses and remediation. This role will involve tasks from design to mounting hardware on racks; to evaluating new technologies. In addition, this role is part of the global QRG Cybersecurity organization and will collaborate with peers from around the world.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for supporting the security of Qurate Retail Group’s IT assets by implementing, maintaining, and operating security tools, as well as supporting incident responses and remediation. The role will involve tasks from design to implementation, including evaluating new technologies and collaborating with peers from around the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the security of Qurate Retail Group’s IT assets by implementing, maintaining, and operating security tools.

  • Support incident responses and remediation.

  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend their implementation.

  • Collaborate with peers from around the world to support the global QRG Cybersecurity organization.

  • Support the development of security policies and procedures.

  • Participate in security awareness training and education programs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


    • Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption.

  • Experience with incident response and remediation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work in a global team environment.


    • Preferred Qualifications

  • CISSP, OSCP, GIAC, CCNA/CCNP Security, or PMP certification.

  • Experience with cloud security technologies.

  • Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

  • Experience with threat intelligence and incident response.
