Key responsibilities;

A Field Application Engieer(FAE) will be responsible for the proper testing of each product on the customer site. He secures the proper execution of the Final Acceptance Test (FAT) plan for each new tool and therefore guarantees the quality of our products. Once the FAT is achieved, he will continue to work in collaboration with the customer to facilitate the integration of the metrology tool into the manufacturing line and be missioned to identify new business opportunities.

The Principal Roles Include

• Executing FAT plans (measurements, data analysis and result dissemination) while respecting key deadlines to guarantee that each new tool complies with well-defined performance specifications.
• Train the customer.
• Closely collaborating with the application team to identify new use cases
• Intelligence on customer needs & competition on the market
• Helping to improve the documentation
• Working with the Field Service Engineer team and engineering team on continuous improvement programs to enhance the product quality.

Required Skills/experience

• Fluent in English and Japanese
• Occasional international travel is required
• Engineer (BSC, MS) plus 3 years in Semiconductor Industry with strong knowledge in semiconductor processes & statistical analysis.
• Based in Tokyo, but frequent travel to Chitose, Hokkaido is required
• Basic knowledge of Physics of Interferometry, Reflectometry, Defectivity and optics.
• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in autonomy and meet scheduled deliverables.
• Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities

必要なスキル/経験

• 日本語、英語共に流暢であること
• 時折、国際的な出張が必要です
• 工学士または修士号を持ち、半導体業界での3年以上の経験があり、半導体プロセスおよび統計分析に関する強い知識を持っていること
• 東京を拠点とし、千歳(北海道)への頻繁な出張が必要です
• 干渉計測、反射率、欠陥検出および光学に関する基本的な知識
• 自立して作業し、予定された成果物を達成する能力を持つ強いコミュニケーション能力および対人スキル
• 強い分析能力と問題解決能力
• この役割はアプリケーションチームの一部であり、フランスにいるアプリケーションのシニアディレクターに報告します
