Global Insurer
seeking a
career-driven Marine Underwriter
to join their growing team in
Japan
. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex risks, build long-term client relationships, and collaborate within a global underwriting network.
What You'll Do
- Underwrite and market
P&I and Hull
insurance across the Japanese market - Assess risks, negotiate renewals, and develop tailored risk management solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers
- Analyse portfolio performance and share insights with international colleagues
- Travel domestically and regionally as required
What You Bring
- 3–5 years' experience
in marine insurance (underwriting, broking, or claims) - Solid exposure to
P&I and/or Hull - Strong client management and relationship-building skills
Fluency in English and Japanese
Location: Tokyo or Imabari
