About the Business Role:
RWE Offshore Wind is looking for a Financial Manager to join the Projects & Investments APAC team (P&I APAC) for large scale Offshore Wind Farms and Hydrogen project developments. The role involves coordinating and steering all financial workstreams of a project, from early development to auction bid.
Joining an international team with global reach, this position offers an opportunity for a self-motivated individual to contribute to a growing team and business with significant growth potential in offshore wind and hydrogen sectors. The team values intellectual flexibility and cultural sensitivity. While hybrid working is central to our operations, some travel is also required.
Your Future Responsibilities:
- Leading the Financial team in the project
- Coordinating Finance and related workstreams
- Owning the business case and assumption book
- Managing project's risk & opportunity register
- Coordinating accounting, tax, and project cost controls
- Collaborating with legal, procurement, structured finance and commercial functions
- Challenging financial assumptions for project optimization
- Ensuring financial best practices and lessons learned are applied
Your Background:
- 4-6 years' experience managing large scale projects
- Finance background with valuation and project financing experience
- University degree in business administration, engineering, banking or economics
- Structured working approach with analytical and communicational skills
- Experience leading diverse teams and presenting in various forums
- Fluency in English and Japanese
