Nutanix Japanではプロフェッショナルサービス部門の 運用支援サービス部(※運用段階のお客様に向けて提供するサービス)で働くレジデント・コンサルタント(RES)を募集しています。
RESはNutanixプラットフォームの技術的な専門家として、技術力はもちろんコミュニケーション力、コラボレーション力など総合的な力を駆使してお客様に信頼されるアドバイザーとしての関係を築き、お客様によるNutanixプラットフォームへの投資が最大限に効果を生むことを支援します。特にRESはお客様環境へ常駐またはリモートでアクセスし、Nutanixベストプラクティス運用の実施により専門的なアドバイスをする専任コンサルタントです。
RES には仮想化(ハイパーバイザースタック、Nutanix AHV/vSphere ESXi)、プライベート/パブリッククラウドサービス、データセンターITインフラストラクチャー(ストレージ、コンピュート、ネットワーキング)領域における技術的な知識や経験、お客様となるエンタープライズ企業のビジネス展開に関する知識や経験を有していることが必要です。エンタープライズ規模で展開される主要なITソリューション(VDI、データベース、ビッグデータなど)に関する業界経験、顧客折衝経験を有しているとなお好ましいです。
RESに求められる役割:
Nutanix製品・機能に関する幅広い知識を活用し、顧客のITリーダーがNutanix環境の戦略的運用を計画するのを支援する。
顧客のITチーム(オンサイトおよびリモート)に参画し、Nutanix製品への投資効果を最大化するため、Nutanix運用のベストプラクティスを実践。
Nutanix環境の導入と拡張を加速し、顧客プロジェクトを成功に導く。
テクニカルハンズオンを通じて顧客内製化を支援。
管理職の指示に基づき、Nutanixの関連サービスやレジデンシー外の案件を担当することもあります。
RESに必要な要件:
職務経験:
5年以上のIT企業システム管理チームにおける業務経験
顧客ITサイドとしてベンダーとのトラブルシューティング、エスカレーション経験
PL/PMとしてIT運用プロジェクトを推進した経験があれば尚可
以下の運用イベントの計画立案と実践的な実行に参加した経験があれば尚可:
PoC、デプロイメント、インストール、コンフィギュレーション、V2VおよびP2Vマイグレーション、拡張
SW/FWのアップグレードとパッチ適用
DR計画、設定、復旧
日本のSIerやソフトウェア会社のプロフェッショナルサービス(特にマネージドサービス組織)での勤務経験があれば尚可。
技術的な理解およびスキル:
データセンターインフラや仮想化に関する専門知識、エンタープライズアプリケーションに関する深い技術的理解
エンタープライズストレージまたはネットワークに関する3年以上の専門知識があれば尚可
タスクの自動化やスクリプト経験(Python、PowerShellなど)があれば尚可
ITSM/ITILに関する知識や経験があれば尚可
MCSA、MCSE、VCAP、VCIX、CCNA、CCIA、RHCEなどの業界資格があれば尚可
コミュニケーションおよびリーダーシップスキル:

Description
Nutanix is hiring a Residential Consultant (RES) in Japan to join our Operational Support Services team in the Professional Services organization.
The RES is a technical Nutanix platform professional who uses a comprehensive set of technical, communication, and collaboration skills to build trusted advisory relationships with our customers and help them maximize their benefit of Nutanix platform investments.
RES is a dedicated consultant who provides expert advice through the implementation of Nutanix best practice operations, either onsite or remotely at the customer's environment.
Technical and Business acumen in Virtualization (Hypervisor stack, Nutanix AHV/vSphere ESXi), Private/Public Cloud Services, and Data Center IT infrastructure (Storage, Compute, Networking) are core requirements with preferred industry experiences about leading Enterprise solutions (VDI, Database, Big Data etc.) in large scale enterprise deployments involving direct customer facing interaction.
Responsibilities:
Leverage extensive knowledge of Nutanix products and capabilities to help customer IT leaders plan the strategic operation of their Nutanix environment.
Participate in customer IT teams (on-site and remote) and implement Nutanix operational best practices to maximise the return on investment in Nutanix products.
Accelerate the implementation and expansion of Nutanix environments to ensure the success of customer projects.Support customer in-house production through technical hands-on.
Possible assignments outside of Nutanix related services and residencies under the direction of management.
Required Qualifications:
Job Experience:
Required: 5+ years' experience working in an IT corporate systems management team.
Required:
Experience in troubleshooting and escalation with vendors as customer IT side
Preferred:
Experience in driving IT operational projects as PL/PM
Preferred:
Experience participating in the planning and practical execution of the following operational events:
PoC, deployment, installation, configuration, V2V and P2V migration, extension
SW/FW upgrades and patching
DR planning, configuration and recovery
Preferred:
Experience working in professional services (especially in a managed services organisation) for a Japanese SIer or software company
Technical Understanding And Skills:
Required:
Expertise in data centre infrastructure and virtualisation, deep technical understanding of enterprise applications.
Preferred:
Over 3 years of specialized knowledge in enterprise storage or networking.
Preferred:
Experience in automation tasks and scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
Preferred:
Knowledge or experience in ITSM/ITIL.

Industry qualifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VCAP, VCIX, CCNA, CCIA, RHCE
Communication And Leadership Skills:
Required:
Excellent communication, project management, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
