1. 役割概要
Sr. Service Solution Architect は、高度な技術能力と深い業界知識を活かし、お客様および Pure のアカウントチームを支援します。顧客のビジネス要件、技術ニーズ、システム、環境、およびサービスの現状と履歴を深く理解し、最適な IT インフラソリューションを構築し、提案、そして提供する役割を担います。セールス、ソリューション SE、プロダクトマネージャー、テクニカルサポート、エンジニアリングなど、社内外のクロスファンクショナルなチームと連携し、顧客およびパートナーのためにアドバンストサービスソリューションの策定と販売を推進します。本役割には、設計・構築に関連関わるデリバリーを主業務としつつ、プリセールスの上流工程への参画も期待されます。このため、プリセールスから IT アーキテクチャ、ソリューションの設計、ネットワーキング、およびこれらのソリューションの実装に関する幅広い理解が必要となります。特に顧客の中・上層部のビジネス/ITゴールや課題を起点とし、顧客環境の現状把握と掘り下げを進め、最終的なソリューションを提案するような Consultative Selling Approach の経験と熱意があることが期待されます。

2. 主な職務と責任
⦁    顧客・パートナーとの戦略的対話と要件定義(営業・SE との協業):

- 顧客の技術的なニーズとビジネス目標を深く理解するため、ハイレベルなディスカバリーセッション、アドバイザリー、およびデザインワークショップに参画します。
- 既存の顧客 IT インフラストラクチャを詳細に分析し、現状構成、課題、非効率性、リスク、および最適化の機会を特定します。
- ステークホルダーと密接に連携し、機能的および非機能的な要件、セキュリティ、可用性、高度な機能、および統合ニーズを定義します。

⦁    ソリューションの設計、構築、および提案:

- 顧客の目標に合致した、スケーラブルで、レジリエント、AI/クラウド対応の Enterprise Data Platformへの移行ソリューションを設計します。
- 顧客固有の要件に適合する詳細なソリューションアーキテクチャおよび運用モデルを開発し、ドキュメント化します。
- アカウントチームが提案する Product 構成に対し、そこ(To be)に至る具体的なトランスフォーメーションプランを作成し、Pure Storage として顧客のビジネス目標を満たす包括的かつ具体的な提案書の完成に貢献します。
- テストフレームワーク、ランブック、および検証計画を作成し、展開前の実現可能性とリスク軽減を確実にします。
- 移行戦略、リスク軽減計画、段階的な実行モデルを含む、リスクを最適化したトランスフォーメーションロードマップを開発します。

⦁    技術コンサルテーションと実装支援:

- プリセールスおよびポストセールスの Consultative Role として、アドバンストサービスソリューションの実装または実装をサポートします。
- 特定のプロジェクトに対し、Pure の主に構築・実装を中心とした技術質問窓口となります。
- セールスチームに実装・構築に関連する技術的なアドバイスを行います。
- 複雑な要件を伴う導入(レプリケーション、クラスタリング、データ移行、スクリプト作成による自動化を促進等)を確実に遂行します。
- プロジェクトのリスク、予算、およびタイムラインを意識し、プロジェクトのビジネス側面からの成功につなげます。
- 小規模のプロジェクトではプロジェクトマネージメントを兼ねたプロジェクトデリバリーを行います。

3. 必要な技術経験
⦁    企業の IT インフラ運用やインフラ環境の自動化・効率化業務に関する 5 年以上の経験。
⦁    Amazon AWS、Microsoft Azure等の主要なクラウドソリューションに対する深い理解と実務経験。
⦁    データセンターマイグレーションや基盤統合の経験。
⦁    Enterprise Storage のプロトコルに関する基本的な理解。
⦁    ネットワークの基本概念、仮想化 Solution やUNIX、Windows、Linux 等 OS の基本的な理解。
⦁    DR、サイバーセキュリティ、コンテナ技術に関する経験。
⦁    スクリプト(Perl、Powershell、Python など)や REST API を用いた運用実装の経験。
⦁    監視ツール等を利用した監視設計やIAM経験、AD による認証管理経験

1. Role Summary
⦁    The Service Solution Architect leverages advanced technical capabilities and deep industry knowledge to support customers and Pure's account team.
⦁    This role involves deeply understanding customer business requirements, technical needs, systems, environments, and service history, and is responsible for building, proposing, and delivering optimal IT infrastructure solutions.
⦁    They collaborate with cross-functional teams both internal and external, including Sales, Solution SEs, Product Managers, Technical Support, and Engineering, to drive the formulation and sales of advanced service solutions for customers and partners.
⦁    This role is primarily focused on delivery related to design and implementation, while also expected to participate in the upstream processes of pre-sales.
⦁    Therefore, a deep understanding of IT architecture, solution design, networking, and the implementation of these solutions, from pre-sales, is required.
⦁    Extensive experience and enthusiasm for a Consultative Selling Approach are particularly expected, starting from the business/IT goals and challenges of mid-to-senior level clients, progressing through understanding and delving into the customer's current environment, and proposing the final solution.

2. Principal Duties & Responsibilities
⦁    Strategic Engagement and Requirements Definition with Customers & Partners (in collaboration with Sales & SEs):

- Participate in high-level discovery sessions, advisory, and design workshops to deeply understand customer technical needs and business objectives.
- Thoroughly analyze existing customer IT infrastructure to identify current configurations, challenges, inefficiencies, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements, security, availability, advanced features, and integration needs.

⦁    Solution Design, Development, and Proposal:

- Design scalable, resilient, AI/cloud-ready Enterprise Data Platform migration solutions that align with customer goals.
- Develop and document detailed solution architectures and operational models that fit customer-specific requirements.
- Contribute to the completion of comprehensive and specific customer proposals that include the Product configuration proposed by the account team, by creating concrete transformation plans to reach the target state, ensuring that Pure Storage fulfills the customer's business objectives.
- Create testing frameworks, runbooks, and validation plans to ensure feasibility and mitigate risk prior to deployment.
- Develop a risk-optimized transformation roadmap, including migration strategies, risk mitigation plans, and phased execution models.

⦁    Technical Consultation and Implementation Support: 

- Act as a consultative role in both pre-sales and post-sales to support the implementation of advanced service solutions.
- Serve as Pure's technical point of contact, primarily for implementation-focused questions, for specific projects.
- Provide technical advice to the sales team related to implementation and construction.
- Ensure the reliable execution of Pure storage deployments involving complex requirements (such as replication, clustering, data migration, and facilitating automation through scripting).
- Be mindful of project risks, budgets, and timelines, and lead to success from the business perspective of the project.
- For smaller projects, perform project delivery while also acting as project management.

3. Required Experience
⦁    5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure operations or infrastructure environment automation/efficiency operations.
⦁    Understanding of Enterprise Storage protocols.
⦁    Deep understanding and practical experience with major cloud solutions such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure.
⦁    Experience with data center migration and platform integration.
⦁    Understanding of fundamental networking concepts, virtualization solutions, and operating systems.
⦁    Experience with DR, cybersecurity, and container technologies.
⦁    Experience with scripting (e.g., Perl, PowerShell, Python) and operational implementation using REST API.
⦁    Experience with monitoring design using monitoring tools, IAM experience, and authentication management experience with AD.

4. Soft Skills, Certifications, and Mindset
⦁    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
Able to clearly communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
Capable of delivering information at the level of detail and in the order expected by the audience, while understanding the essence of their intent.
⦁    Ability to appropriately grasp the customer's expectations and information through active listening. Especially, experience in non-technical dialogue (Business challenges) with mid-to-senior level clients is a plus.
⦁    Strong desire for learning new technologies and willingness to deploy/share them with others.
⦁    Creative approach to problem-solving and strong analytical capabilities.
⦁    Ability to manage external and internal stakeholders and report on project progress.
⦁    Possession of certifications such as ITIL, PMP, vendor-specific storage certifications, SNIA certification programs, and CompTIA Storage+.
⦁    Autonomous and proactive mindset.
⦁    Logical and rational thinking process.

⦁    Proactive in offering opinions and clarifying ambiguities in meetings.
