We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial & Corporate team at Marsh. This role will be based in the London office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least 3 days a week in the office.

The role: Account Handler/Client Advisor

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our London Branch in our Commercial or Corporate Team as a Client Advisor. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial or corporate insurance account handling looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker. We may even consider candidates with proven experience within commercial claims or HNW account handling, looking to further their career.

Within your role you'll be responsible for servicing both new & existing clients with a range of insurance products.

We will rely on you to:

  • Be present and collaborative with Marsh Client Executives and wider service team regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals

  • Request and review underwriting information on behalf of C&C clients and understand their requirements

  • Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in consultation with the Client Executives and the Placement Team

  • Utilize Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers

  • Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client reports for renewals

  • Produce and/or request Insurer documentation

  • Stive to assist branch New Business and Expanded Services targets

  • Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments.

  • Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and understand and comply with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.

 What you need to have:

  • General Insurance Account Handling experience across a broad range of products or experience within other areas of insurance

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously

  • A good awareness of clients' business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans

  • Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment

  • Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities
