Four Seasons Hotel Osaka

The Four Seasons Hotel Osaka is looking for Concierge Supervisor, who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. We are looking for a candidate that is dedicated to creating personalized experiences and lasting memories for our guests. This position reports to the Assistant Chef Concierge.

Education

A university degree or equivalent experience required

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, service or luxury industry preferred but not required

Desired Skills

  • Must have proven organizational abilities in maintenance of traces, files, records, executive calendar, directing calls, follow through on e-mails and other communications
  • Good Reservations skills with working knowledge in Opera
  • Good communications and telephone skills, independent correspondence including emails, along with experience composing different types of documents
  • General PC proficiency with basic skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with courier services, receiving and inventory control of printing & stationery as well as guest supplies for the front office
  • Working knowledge in both written and spoken Korean and English
  • Eligibility

  • Provides basic trouble-shooting support for in-room services such as Internet, TV, games, and Web service.
  • Works closely with Guest Services, Housekeeping and Core to ensure smooth handling of guest requests.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Key Functions

  • Supervises the Concierge team, when Chief Concierge is absent.
  • Schedule and conduct training for the staff while preparing necessary procedure and documents for training.
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.
  • Assures that Concierge Staff knows what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, and sightseeing) and establishes close contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests. Assures that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current.

  • Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Utilizes a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements the guest has made and to assure proper billing.
  • Promptly respond to guests' inquiries.
