Job Purpose
To take initiatives in managing existing materials/parts from existing overseas suppliers and materials/parts to procure supplies with appropriate price/quality/timing for the purpose of supporting NDL's stable supply chain and production process.
Key Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities1
-Lead/take the initiatives to improve the daily operation and report to manager accordingly as the senior staff of Overseas Procurement Group.
-Instruct existing overseas suppliers (incl. forwarders) and improve the existing materials/parts through analysis.

Improve and optimize the purchasing operation by developing new suppliers (incl. forwarders) and materials/parts from the view point of stability of quality/cost/delivery term/development capability/financial aspects.

Execute the daily operation like bellows according to the production and delivery plan
-Obtaining estimations
-Purchasing price registration
-Order approval and order form placement
-Warehousing inspection arrangement
-Delivery delay handling and urgent order
Key Accountabilities4
-Investigate and confirm the forecast and order quantity to overseas suppliers in relation with Production Planning and Sales dept.
-Summarize and Inform Finance dept. of the customs clearance charge.

-Execute the overseas export operation. (Preparing required documents, communication to forwarders, and shipment booking and products representation)
-Obtain the estimation for export/import cost according to the request from other departments.
-Proceed the basic transaction contract procedure and register in the ERP system on new suppliers.

-Understand and comply with the related laws (ex: Subcontracting Charges Law, SOX) and ISO Rules, and give instruction to suppliers on them.
-Take the initiative to improve the daily operations according to the ISO Rules.

Basic knowledge on products to be charged ERP operation skill/knowledge
Relevant Experience:
More than 5 years experiences in overseas procurement in materials/purchasing department of manufacturing industry.
More than 5 years experiences in international logistics field More than 5 years experiences in Kaizen activities.
Others (% of travel, language, etc.):
English – Business level is minimum required.
