Interviews

During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. As an
IT Site Manage
, you will be responsible for overseeing daily IT operations at the Tagawa site, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of on-site IT systems. Acting as the main point of contact between the local site and Tokyo HQ, you will coordinate IT activities, manage incidents, and support system improvements in alignment with global IT standards and local regulatory requirements.

This role requires strong technical expertise, operational leadership, and effective communication skills in an international environment.

Your missions

Daily IT Operations & Infrastructure

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize on-site IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, endpoints, cloud services, and security systems
• Ensure high availability and performance of IT services supporting business operations

System Upgrades & Deployments

• Collaborate with Tokyo HQ IT teams to plan, execute, and validate system upgrades, patches, and new technology deployments
• Support deployment activities while ensuring minimal disruption to operations

Incident & Problem Management

• Lead troubleshooting of IT incidents and problems
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely resolution
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the primary liaison between the Tagawa site and Tokyo HQ's IT department
• Ensure clear communication, alignment on priorities, and regular follow-up with stakeholders

Compliance, Security & Governance

• Ensure IT systems comply with internal policies, global IT governance standards, and Japanese data protection regulations (e.g., APPI)
• Support security best practices and risk mitigation initiatives

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, service logs, and operational procedures
• Prepare regular status reports for local management and HQ

Process Improvement & Training

• Identify inefficiencies in IT operations and propose optimization or automation initiatives
• Provide on-site support to local teams and deliver training sessions on IT best practices and new systems

Your profile

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems management, or IT project management
• Proven experience managing on-site IT infrastructure in a corporate or manufacturing environment
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) for daily collaboration with Tokyo HQ and international teams
• Intermediate to advanced Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent) with the ability to communicate with local teams and produce reports
• Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, endpoint management, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred)
• Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL) and project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Willingness to work on-site in Tagawa, Fukuoka, and travel to Tokyo or other sites as required
