About the team
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more.
As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
Responsibilities- Lead the integration of the TikTok shops and work closely to onboard new merchants. Define and own account plans to unlock investments and drive client's business key performance metrics.
- Understand longterm business objectives/KPIs to align TikTok strategy and negotiate complex business opportunities. Secure growth of TikTok advertising solutions budgets
- Partner with crossfunctional partners to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives developing account plans, synthesizing market related data, leading client analysis and defining the overall business approach to success.
- Prospect and penetrate organizations to drive alignment and influence executive and daytoday contacts to execute against account plan.
- Collaborate with measurement partners to create learning agendas to help clients measure the impact of marketing and adopt measurement solutions.
- Own forecasting and accurate client analysis to support team planning.
- Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies across TikTok solutions.
- Use information and knowledge that we have and pitch to our clients
- Provide account management and open up new accounts of our advertisers and advertisement agencies in Japan
- Grow our business through collaboration with internal stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- Teamworker who can collaborate well with other functions and other regions
- Exposure to working with ECommerce platforms, or understanding of Ecommerce industry
- Growth mindset and passion to drive client's business forward
- Strong cross cultural communication is required as this position will deal with cross border merchants
- Experience with Ecommerce Ads
- Experience working with merchants for marketplaces
- Open, transparent and collaborative work style
- Able to enjoy the rapidly changing environment
