Your Role:
The marketing communication manager is responsible for creating and executing Research Solution and Applied Solution's marketing communication/promotion mix and transform from traditional off-line activities to on-line activities in collaborating with eCommerce & Digital team and Commercial Marketing and Technical Service team for the portfolio, including products, services, and workflows. To work in close partnership with local marketing & sales teams, business unit technical experts, agencies to develop communications strategy, create content, deploy, and localize company's marketing initiatives & campaigns. The outcome being to ensure a creative, engaging, and immersive campaigns for the relevant target audience. This role reports directly to the Head of Commercial Excellence and collaborates with eCommerce & Digital team, product marketing, segment marketing, and commercial organizations in Research Solutions & Applied Solutions.

Key Accountabilities
- Customer Engagement: Better integrate how we connect and engage with consumers across all forms of media and ensure our brands can be purchased in the time, place, and manner most convenient for our consumers
- Marketing Mix: Ensures a plan across the portfolio to continually improve our understanding of the best channel and content to drive the best results relative to brand strategy & campaign objectives.
- Effectiveness Measurement: Optimize both pre and post campaign evaluation and dynamic optimization within campaigns, measurement, evaluation, and optimization.
- Adherence to Legal and Compliance: Carry out in strict compliance with laws and regulation with campaigns, initiatives, productions, and events.
- Contents Development: Implements and adapts global Content Strategy and the Global Content Calendar in collaboration with marketing & sales teams.
- Branding: Fully optimize our brand assets to have the highest impact on consumers across platforms
- Ensure on-time completion of Campaigns, On-line Tradeshows ( less off line), Media, Print & Digital tactics
- Ownership & tracking of the MarCom budget with ROIs
CANDIDATE'S PROFILE
- Education: Bachelor's degree and broad based business education such as Business Degree or MBA.
- 7+ years working in media and marketing disciplines and people management.
- Strong experience working across the Japan media landscape and strong knowledge of Japan media channels.
- Significant 'hands on" media planning and buying experience gained either at client or agency or ideally both.
- Managing communications budgets
- Demonstrated strategic thinking across media, social, on-line video, CRM, search, website, data and analytics and content
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and brand growth strategy.
• Evidence of impactful Strategic thinking and complex project management within a communications environment. - Experience managing media agency teams including media briefing and managing significant agency projects.
