Job Responsibilities
As a Manager Candidate in the Internal Control Group, you will lead core governance, risk, and compliance functions to strengthen internal controls and ensure smooth business operations across the subsidiary. Key responsibilities include:

Work Environment
- Governance & Compliance Management
- Drive governance initiatives and ensure company-wide compliance with laws, internal policies, and group standards.
- Establish frameworks to reinforce adherence to regulations and proper business conduct.
- Promote understanding and adoption of the company's authority matrix.
- Implement and monitor internal checks within procurement and operational processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and control.
- Build and manage an information asset management structure aligned with ISMS requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to maintain integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets.
- Identify operational and organizational risks.
- Develop and execute mitigation plans, improvement measures, and follow-up tracking.
Team Size: 3 members
1 Manager (dual role)
- 1 Team Member
- 1 ISMS Officer (outside department; dual role)
This position is expected to take over as the
dedicated leader
, given that current managers hold overlapping responsibilities.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience in corporate back-office functions OR 10+ years of general business experience (internal control experience not required).
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
- Proficiency in Japanese, with the ability to interpret and apply domestic laws and regulations.
Nice-to-Have
- 2+ years of experience in governance, risk management, or compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with internal audits, ISMS management, or procurement oversight.
- Work experience in internet services or digital advertising industries.
English Requirement
- TOEIC 800+, or equivalent proof of English proficiency (e.g., degree from an English-speaking university).
- Proof must be submitted by the time of offer. If unavailable, the candidate may be required to take a TOEIC IP test during selection.
