Hybrid – Hiratsuka, JPMain Responsibilities:
- Closely work with related to departments and stakeholder to plan, organize, and control resources/processes to achieve project objectives of business process development and improvement within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.
- Leading the projects to implement and delivery the process design and improvement.
- Collaborate with internal experts to develop solutions to complex problems by improving processes, building systems, etc.
- Analyze designs, methods, and internal processes to identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Develop strategies and initiatives for operational improvement and cost savings.
- Implement process improvements including necessary changes in product design, and manufacturing methods.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies and principles.
Qualifications and Work Experience
Education/degree
- A 4-year university degree in an engineering discipline or a relevant technical field.
Work Experiences
- At least 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop technical solutions for complex and undefined problems.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with internal expertise and analyze technical systems.
- Experience in manufacturing operational improvement and cost savings is preferred.
- Familiarity with lean methodologies and principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficiency in business English is also desired.
Other skills, experiences or highly desirable qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of the job area and a deep understanding of theoretical concepts and principles in the engineering discipline.
