Job Purpose
- Capital Management supports the AIG Finance team in statutory Capital and dividend planning and decision-making, in support of both the Japan business and AIG's global priorities.
- The Capital Management analyst position will support all capital-related functions, including operations, reporting, and analysis, for AIG Japan at both the holding company and subsidiary level (both insurance and non-insurance subsidiaries).
- Capital Management supports treasury operation services to AIG Japan service companies.
Job Responsibilities
- Capital Management, including capital and dividend assessment and reporting in a global environment.
- Creation of capital solutions and performing capital and dividend impact analysis and planning on behalf of local and global leadership.
- Conversion of US GAAP budgets and projections to JGAAP.
- Support of high-level capital communications:
- Including drafting documents in both Japanese and English
- Creating materials and exhibits for messaging to local and global stakeholders
- Maintaining capital-related industry knowledge
- Compiling general insurance industry financial information
- Maintaining departmental subject matter expertise for Japan regulatory requirements
- Supporting global regulatory and rating agency requirements
- Treasury operations including: payment execution, group finance, external finance, liquidity management, cash positioning for AIG Japan service companies.
