The team
Hitachi Digital Services Japan, which is the HDS's Japan country office, is strengthening its offshore engineering services leveraging development centers in Vietnam and India, building a global delivery structure that combines high quality and cost competitiveness.

The role
Responsibilities
The Japanese Speaking Technical Lead will work at the client's office in Japan (Yokohama) for over 1 year, can manage small team with + 5 members. Main responsibilities including the followings:

  • Able to be Japanese communication about technology. Strong technical document (Inquiry response) writing Japanese skills.
  • Maintenance development (investigating past issues, handling OSS version upgrades) to gain product understanding.
  • Responding to inquiries to understand specifications and business processes.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or related technical discipline.
  • Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Full-Stack development and technical leadership.

Required Technical Qualifications

  • JavaScript programming (knowledge of ECMAScript2015, jQuery, babel, webpack, etc.).
  • Web application technology (struts2, Spring Framework, tomcat, nginx).
  • Java Programming/Maven (Java Package Management).
  • Knowledge of testing tools (using JMeter, SoapUI, etc., test data design, summarizing results).
  • AWS in general (EC2, RDS, Elastic Load Balancing, ElasticSearch, S3, SQS, etc.).
  • Technical (Failure) Investigation/Response Consideration Skills (Web Application Vulnerabilities, EOL, etc.).
  • Design Assessment, scripting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ruby (used in the mobile version of CSS)
  • C++ (used in CIP/Cbridge)
  • Development skills using our XUX (*)
  • Evaluation using our MFP simulator (Gismo)
