is an independent technology consulting firm providing guidance and solutions to businesses. Brief Call
: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you
Interviews
(the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities
Case study
: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Join Amaris Consulting as a member of our technology team, where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of C++ software applications. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with development and product teams to deliver robust solutions that meet client needs. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and continuously enhance your skills in software testing and automation.
Your missions
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for C++ software applications
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools
- Troubleshoot, debug, and verify fixes for reported issues
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to automation initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, testing tools, and technologies
Your profile
- Academic background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience: Proven experience in software testing or C++ software development
- English language: Business level English and Japanese
- Tools / software: Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and experience with software development tools and version control systems
- AI/OpenAI experience: Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks is a plus
- Soft skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and teamwork abilities
