ERM is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist for a full-time opportunity based out of our client's location. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring health and safety compliance with applicable regulations and existing company standards and contributing to an environment where employee health and safety is preserved.  You will have the responsibility, authority, and knowledge necessary to develop and implement site-specific Health & Safety plans at a complex project site.  The ideal candidate will bring a working knowledge of H&S technical capability to help our clients proactively address their health and safety risks and challenges.

This is an ideal opportunity for professionals interested in field-based work who are looking to develop their careers in health and safety consulting.

Responsibilities:

• On-site health & safety consultant for a technology sector client

• Delivery of Health and Safety services and Incident and near-miss management including stop-work intervention.

• Confirm that Health and Safety legal compliance requirements are understood, control programs are in place and that compliance is monitored during construction activities.

• Provide regular inspection routines to projects to promote safe behaviors, and good conditions and to increase safety awareness across all workers on site.

• Provide feedback on overall health and safety performance to regional leadership.

• Other Health and Safety related tasks as required.

• Work Location: Eastern Tokyo.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, health and safety or relevant studies

• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction safety experience

• Be passionate about safety performance improvement and having working experience with the following H&S topics:

  • Hazard recognition

  • Incident management

  • On-site construction health and safety planning

  • Job hazard analysis

• Proactive and fast learner, excellent communication skills and good team worker

• Fluent Japanese – written and verbal

• Intermediate English – written and verbal

【主な業務内容】

・クライアントの工事現場における労働安全領域コンサルティングの実施

・ンシデントおよびニアミスの管理と報告

・派遣先の現場における法律の遵守の徹底

・安全監査の実施とセーフティーカルチャーの醸成

・プロジェクト現場の労働安全衛生に関するフィードバックの提供

経験を積みスキルが高まるにつれて、より大きな案件を担当できる仕組みが確立しています。

コンサルティング未経験からスタートされる方も多く、長期のキャリア形成を目指す社員が多いことが特徴です。

応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

・3年以上の建設安全に関する経験

・ネイティブレベルの日本語(工事関係者とのコミュニケーションおよびドキュメンテーションが求められます)

・日常会話レベルの英語(クライアントとのMTGが発生する場合があります)

・安全の改善に情熱を持ち、以下のトピックに関する実務経験があること:

・危険予知活動

・インシデント管理

・工事安全衛生計画書

・作業危険性分析

【歓迎(WANT)】

-環境工学、労働安全、または関連分野の学士号

-大型施設(特にIT関連施設、倉庫、物流拠点、工場、エネルギー発電施設、米軍基地)の工事現場での安全管理経験者歓迎します

-コンサルティング経験

-プロジェクトマネジメント経験

-ビジネスレベル以上の英語力

-施工管理技士の資格

-安全管理者の資格

-労働安全コンサルタントの資格
