The Data Strategy Manager at DBT will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Digital Business Transformation (DBT) strategy by defining, developing, and implementing data strategies and solutions. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to harness the power of data, optimize processes, and drive innovation within Data Warehouse (Japan commercial System) and Snowflake (Next Generation Data Platform).

Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities

1. ** Data Strategy Development **

• Develop and communicate a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the company's Digital Business Transformation (DBT) goals.

• Collaborate with cross functional team to identify business objectives and translate them into data-driven initiatives.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our data strategy remains cutting-edge.
2. ** Data Architecture and Infrastructure in commercialization **

• Define and oversee the implementation of data architectures, data lakes, and data warehouses to support analytics and reporting needs.

• Collaborate with IT in locally and internationally to ensure data infrastructure is scalable, robust, and aligned with business objectives.
3. ** Data visualization and Collaboration **

• Foster collaboration and communication among different departments to encourage data sharing and cross-functional insights.

• Identify opportunities for data monetization or partnerships that can enhance our data assets.

• Design and lead a visual dashboard (a performance report in Qlick sense) to track the performance at regular basis.
4. ** Vendor and Tool Selection **

• Evaluate and select appropriate data analytics and business intelligence tools and platforms.

• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to data and analytics solutions.

Education Level

Bachelor's Degree

Experience

Proven experience in data strategy development and execution, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Project management. KPI and BI dashboard design and delivery.

Business level of English

Native level of Japanese

Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, and data architecture principles.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools, data visualization concept
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Capable of analytical thinking & decisive
  • High level of accountability & ownership
