Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Database Administrator located in Nagoya. The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing, designing, and optimizing database systems to ensure high performance, availability, and security. Daily tasks will include database maintenance, troubleshooting issues, implementing database designs, managing replication processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-related needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Database Administration and expertise in managing and maintaining complex database systems
• Strong skills in Database Design, ensuring optimal database architecture and schema design
• Experience in Troubleshooting, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving database-related issues effectively
• Familiarity with Databases and expertise in working with replication setups
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Knowledge of database security best practices and performance tuning is an advantage
