Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an E-Commerce Assistant Manager to drive digital growth for our luxury beauty brands in Japan's sophisticated e-commerce market. You will be supporting the E-commerce Manager in executing omni-channel strategies across major platforms while bridging global brand expertise with local market insights.

Your main focus:

E-commerce Operations

  • Manage multi-platform operations (ZOZO, Department EC sites, Beauty Platforms)
  • Execute product launches and coordinate localized content for Japanese consumers
  • Handle order processing, inventory coordination, and retailer relationship management

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and global/APAC teams
  • Support promotional planning aligned with Japanese market trends and cultural events
  • Create performance reports combining local insights with global KPIs

Market Analysis & Strategy Support

  • Analyze Japanese consumer behavior and competitive landscape
  • Contribute to e-commerce strategy development with market-specific recommendations
  • Support CRM initiatives and digital marketing campaigns

You will work closely together with several departments such as Retail Operations, Commercial and Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain teams. All your colleagues are collaborative, and you will receive tremendous support for you to excel in this role.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You like to make a difference. As an experienced E-Commerce professional, you will share your valuable experience with the team, and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you should also have the following requirements:

  • 3+ years e-commerce experience in Japan's consumer goods or beauty industry
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese e-commerce platforms and payment systems
  • CRM and digital marketing experience preferred
  • University degree or equivalent

Other Requirements:

  • Native-level Japanese with strong business English communication
  • Experience in multinational environments
  • Understanding of Japanese consumer behavior and cultural nuances
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
