【About Us】
DEJAPAN (ディージャパン) is a proxy shopping service offered by JABLE (ジェイブル) Corporation that does everything from buying products sought by overseas users who want Japanese items, to receiving, inspecting, packing, and shipping them.
We provide a one-stop service that solves the problems of language, payment, delivery, and customer support for people overseas who want access to Japanese products without having to understand Japanese or visit Japan.
Some of our most frequently ordered items include otaku goods like anime figures, trading cards, and plush dolls, as well as fashion goods like second hand luxury brand items and lolita clothing

【Job Responsibilities】
Your responsibilities will include:
● Responding to customer inquiries by email in English
● Solving order issues with other teams and/or the seller in Japanese
● Processing claims with shipping companies (ex. parcel damage, loss)
● Performing tasks related to site management and service flow
● Issuing invoices and payment requests
● Handling payment issues
● Analyzing sales data
● Sending monthly newsletters and creating daily social media posts

【Job Requirements】
● English: Native level
● Japanese: Business level (approximately N2 or above)
● PC skills: Basic operations (typing, Word, Excel, GSuite, etc.)
● Must be able to commute to our office in Osaka
● Must be able to start in April 2024
【Desirable/Beneficial Skills】
● Previous experience in customer service
● Strong communication skills, including fluency in both English and Japanese
● Problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills
● Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
● Attention to detail and accuracy
● Experience in e-commerce or logistics industry

【Employment Details】
● Employment Type: Permanent employee (Full Time)
● Monthly Salary: 220,000 JPY or more *Determined based on previous experience and ability
● Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday~Friday) *Flextime system available
● Lunch Break: 1 hour
● Average Overtime: Less than 5 hours per month
【Probationary Period】
● 2 months
● Salary during the probationary period is 85% of the full monthly salary
● No social insurance during the probationary period
【Benefits & Welfare】
● Transportation expenses: Up to 25,000 JPY per month
● Full social insurance (after the probationary period)
● Holidays: Over 120 annual holidays
● Paid Time Off: 10 days per year, granted after 6 months of employment

● In-person interview - approximately 75 minutes (including exam)

Although the DEJAPAN team speaks and understands English fluently, JABLE's upper management team is not fluent in English. To ensure clear communication and understanding for all parties, all hiring communications will be conducted in Japanese.
