Infrastructure Specialist Role at Kyndryl

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Kyndryl. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day.

The role involves providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, implementation, and operation of complex IT infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop innovative solutions to meet those needs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale implementations to large-scale transformations. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who has experience in leading infrastructure projects and has a deep understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, technologies, and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics, or a related field. They will also have hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, implementation, and operation of complex IT infrastructure solutions.
• Lead project teams and manage budgets to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to meet client business needs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver infrastructure solutions.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Enterprise IT application experience.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
• Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across teams.
• Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
• Strong process improvement experience.
