Position Description
The Treasury analyst role sits within the treasury team of the Finance and Treasury dept.
The treasury analyst handles day-to-day cash management , liquidity and FX management as well as supporting accountingtasks including month-end closing and shareholder reporting.
Key Role Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day cash management, liquidity and FX management as well as supporting accounting tasks including month-end closing and shareholder reporting.
Daily management of margining with counterparties
FX Forward Execution for hedging and reporting
Conduct analysis on treasury operations for improvement. Present findings to Senior Treasury Manager and provide recommendations for enhancing treasury performance
Support tasks:
ARAP tasks
Monthly closing process, group and statutory reporting and in compliance to financial reporting standards and statutory requirement
Process and controls improvements and enhance the quality of financial reporting
Addressing of audit points/observations
Other ad-hoc duties and projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
At least 3-5 years of experience relevant working experience (treasury, accounting, ARAP)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressure
Good verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with people at all levels (English skills preferred) Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) is required.
Able to work independently with minimal supervisionAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends
Proficiency in MS Office especially in Microsoft Excel
