Based in Tokyo, in this role as Capacity Planning Manager, you will drive strategic programs to create and manage capacity at our Data Centers in the APAC region.
The role involves delivering programs effectively to improve infrastructure utilization and availability through extensive partnership with key stakeholders across Technical Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Development, and Product teams.
Through close collaboration with our partners, you will help establish Amazon Web Services as the leading cloud technology provider in the region, enabling our customers to effectively leverage our Data Center capacity for their business success.

Key job responsibilities
Technical Infrastructure Program Managers (TIPM) in Capacity Delivery Planning lead strategic initiatives to identify, execute, and manage capacity at our Data Centers in the APAC region.
Success in this role requires effective collaboration with multiple AWS internal partners, including Build TIPMs, Engineering teams, Supply Chain teams, and Business Development Managers, to co-deliver planning programs.
The TIPM works closely with these partners to drive optimal outcomes that balance customer requirements with site risks.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as TIPMs must effectively convey complex program information to diverse audiences across the organization.

Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in a quantitative field, or experience in problem solving and data analytics
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
2+ years of Program Management experience. Experience in conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis and Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in forecasting analyses
3+ years of supply chain management, production planning, capacity planning or manufacturing operations experience
Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
Experience in analyzing data to drive decisions
