Sancta is developing a biotech-enabled skincare brand inspired by the timeless principles of Japanese beauty. Guided by AI design and bioscience, we create high-performance formulations that honor both science and serenity — awakening calm on the skin and within.

Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Founder's Associate role located in Tokyo, Japan. As the Founder's Associate, you will be an execution powerhouse, wearing multiple hats to drive the business at the forefront. You will work directly with the founder to manage projects, manage the product pipeline, advise on financial planning and growth strategies, and overall, be a force multiplier for the CEO.

【Operations & Project Management】
- Drive product development timelines from concept → formulation → launch.
- Help the COO manage the entire supply chain: OEM/ODM partners, suppliers, logistics, and inventory.
- Map processes and suggest improvements to increase operational efficiency as we scale.
【
General Management】
- Be the operational right hand to the CEO.
- Translate high-level strategy into actionable project plans.
- Represent the founder in internal meetings and with external partners when required.
【Financial Planning & Analysis】
- Assist with financial modeling, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Track key business performance metrics (e.g., margins, channel performance, acquisition metrics).
- Turn data into insights and insights into decisions.
Requirements
- Graduated from a top-tier accredited university
- 2-3 years of prior experience in a specialist role at a skincare brand,
luxury goods,
or FMCG company OR - A generalist at a fast-paced, high-stakes environment (e.g., startup, management consulting, investment banking, VC/PE)
- Native-level fluency in both Japanese and English
- Proven ability to manage projects and drive execution from start to finish.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail-- you would describe yourself as type A.
- Strong interest in luxury goods, skincare, and wellness.
- Strong commercial and analytical intuition.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a bias toward action.
