Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Senior Manager

Your role:
- Develop local regulatory strategy and engage in strategic discussions with stakeholders to expedite project development.
- Proactively identify risks in regulatory strategies, plans, and products, and suggest alternative approaches.
- Interpret local regulations for BU partners and ensure full compliance.
- Stay updated on new regulations such as mobile monitoring, clinical decision support, and AI.
- Plan and carry out product registration in alignment with local business needs.
- Manage relationships with MHLW/PMDA and oversee product registration activities.
- Review and create product registration/reimbursement documents.
- Conduct regulatory assessments and review promotional materials.
- Lead product registration and RA administration tasks.
- Drive transformation and improvement initiatives.
You're the right fit if:
- Over 10 years of experience in medical device regulatory affairs.
- Experience in authoring medical device SHONIN submissions, including SaMD, and securing approvals.
- Thorough knowledge of PMD Act, ISO 13485, Radio Act, and Measurement Act.
- Familiarity with relevant standards/guidelines such as software development lifecycle, cybersecurity, and clinical decision support in medical devices.
- Capable of resolving complex issues arising from daily operations.
- Self-motivated with excellent prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Bachelor of Science Degree required (Master's preferred).
- Proficiency in Japanese and English.
