Job Title: National Channel Sales Leader in Japan
We are recruiting for an amazing National Channel Sales Leader in Japan to grow sales nationwide, based in Tokyo or Osaka.
- This role will drive sales growth and execute the business plan aligned with company growth strategy.
- You will create a culture of sales excellence through a growth and customer first mindset that will enhance the performance and results of our Dental sales team and provide the best outcomes for practitioners and patients.
Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage channel partner principle/management and C Suite level relationships with 2 direct reporting Channel Managers.
- Provides accurate forecasts on sales and channel partner satisfaction, aligned to the agreed KPI's.
- Redefine channel strategy and take responsibility for selecting channel partners.
- Lead front end negotiation, implementation, and execution of distribution agreements, incentive programs, etc.
- Sets and executes the medium- to long-term strategic direction and operating plans with the strategic partner.
- Collaborate closely with Dental Sales Team to meet the requirements of the key channel partner.
- Resolves issues and conflicts related to account responsibility.
- Interprets industry trends, customer requirements, and business objectives to define guidelines/methods for the field sales organization.
- Maps and identifies opportunities, manages pipeline and incentive programs.
Required Experience/Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with commercial strategy creation/execution in the Healthcare industry.
- Experience engaging with and influencing executive levels of organizations.
- High level of communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in Salesforce and related tools and/or Power BI/Spotfire kind of data visualization platforms familiarity.
- Demonstrable experience in initiating/driving process improvements.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in both Japanese and English.
Preferred Experience/Qualification:
- MBA or equivalent degree.
- Experience working in business consulting industry.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience working with and through large healthcare national distribution channel partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders across functions.
Work Style:
- Frequent travel: approximately one week per month.
- Remote work: hybrid work available.
