Position Details
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be actively involved in delivering solutions to our client companies through consulting and project management, utilizing our proprietary data, technology (Rakuten AI), and client data. Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying use cases based on client requirements and proposing the optimal AI/Data solution
• Defining business requirements customized for each client
• Communicating these requirements to our data scientist and data/AI engineer teams, while managing project progress

Mandatory Qualifications

• Familiarity with algorithms and evaluation metrics commonly used in machine learning
• Strong interest in Gen AI and LLM technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Japanese
• Experience in resolving business issues within your own company or client organizations through data analysis
• Proven project management experience, including progress management and other PMO activities
• Experience in proactively driving projects by involving a broad spectrum of teams, from business to engineering teams
• Proficiency in creating project documentation using tools such as PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications

• Understanding of the data science and AI field, with experience working on generative AI and LLM projects
• Passion and understanding of data, data analysis, and the creation of business value using data
• Ability to work independently and autonomously across multiple teams and functions
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills
• Ability to solve problems, think strategically, and design hypotheses
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R) and tools or solutions (e.g. DataRobot)
• Experience in a business consulting firm
• Experience working in a company or department specializing in data analysis
