• 負責台灣與日本珊瑚礁群聚調查與採樣
• 主導珊瑚eDNA、群聚資料影像與統計分析
• 計畫成果進度、期中與成果報告共寫
• Execute the Academia Sinica project "Evolution and Biogeography of Scleractinian Corals and Coral Reefs in East Asia : The Pivotal Role of Taiwan".
• Lead research in coral community ecology and eDNA applications with emphasis on Acropora diversity within coral reef ecosystems.
• Participate in international collaborations on the evolution and biogeography of East Asian coral reefs, highlighting Taiwan's role in the region.
• Apply community ecology and eDNA approaches to investigate Acropora diversity patterns and underlying ecological and historical processes.
• Conduct coral reef community surveys and sampling in Taiwan and Japan.
• Perform coral eDNA workflows and conduct coral assemblage, image, and statistical analyses.
• Prepare project progress, midterm, and final reports. The position requires frequent regional travel for fieldwork and collaborative meetings.
• Qualifications
• 具有博士學位
• 珊瑚礁分類與群聚生態或eDNA研究經驗
• 具備進階潛水員執照以上證照(潛水經驗至少達50支氣瓶以上),能於台灣與日外出差進行野外工作為優先
• 具有英/日語口語能力,具書寫能力優先考慮
• 具備汽車駕照,並有2年以上道路駕駛經驗
• 認真負責,有學習熱誠,良好的領導溝通協調能力,可獨立完成計劃與各項臨時交辦事項
• PhD degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in coral taxonomy, coral reef community ecology and eDNA research
• Ability to conduct fieldwork and scuba diving between Taiwan and Japan. *Advanced scuba diving certification and at least 50 logged dives are required.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese for field coordination and international collaboration, with writing skills considered an advantage.
• Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience.

• Strong sense of responsibility, motivation to learn, and effective leadership and communication skills; ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks.

• Working Environment

• Operating Hours 9:00–18:00, Monday to Friday, in accordance with Academia Sinica regulations.

• Work Place 台北市研究院路2段128號中央研究院生物多樣性研究中心 1. Primary workplace located at the Coral Reef Laboratory, Biodiversity Research Center, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. 2. Collaborative research network centered on partner institutions in Japan. 3. Fieldwork conducted in multiple locations across Taiwan and Japan, including the Ryukyu Islands and mainland Japan.

• Treatment 比照『中央研究院業務費項下助理人員工作酬金支給標準表』辦理,博士畢64,711元。Salary follows the "Academia Sinica Salary Standards for Project Research Personnel." The first level for new PhD graduates is NTD 64,711 per month.
