We are looking for a technically skilled Implementation Consultant to join our client's professional services team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in software development who are passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You'll play a key role in implementing configurable Saas software solutions for clients, working directly with end users and stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
What you will do:
- Analyse and document customer requirements and business process
- Translate business requirements to application functional requirements
- Configure LIMS systems to meet the customer needs
- Deliver training courses to customers
- Assist customers with their validation and testing stages appropriate to their industry
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide direction to customers
- Travel to customer sites for implementation and configuration projects
- Learn industry specific processes, requirements and operations; specialise through career progression
What you will need:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in software development or technical consulting
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.)
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Ability to accommodate overnight travel
- Excellent Japanese communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
