Description
Responsibilities:
TCAD Engineer will use experience with TCAD, device physics and develop advanced processes, working in close collaboration with process integration, characterization and pixel design.
- Develop advanced CIS technologies through detailed process and device modeling and simulation using advanced TCAD tools.
- Work with pixel design group to design the most advanced and optimized pixel layout.
- Collaborate with process integration team to establish process conditions and experiment splits.
- Work with characterization team to analyze and debug pixel device circuit and various image related issues.
- Benchmark Simulation results with Silicon data. If mismatch, investigate the source and propose solution to fix.
- Work with TCAD tool vendor for model calibration, capability enhancement, efficiency and bug fix.
- At least 6 years of Require work or research experience in the TCAD 2D/3D process and device simulation (Synopsys Sentaurus or others), semiconductor device physics and fabrication processes; CIS process experience is a plus (but not a requirement)
- Experience in advance TCAD tools modeling and calibration. CMOS image sensors' experience is plus.
- Excellent knowledge of semiconductor device physics.
- Has Industrial network in image sensor area, close relationship to TCAD vendor and some knowledge of competitor's technology.
- MS in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Physics, related field or equivalent work experience; PhD is a plus
- Project management / People management skill and experience is a plus
- Result oriented and embraced change behaviors
