■組織・チーム紹介
私たちは、PlayStationプラットフォームのシステムソフトウェアや開発者向けSDKを開発するチームです。現在、PS5 Proに搭載されたPlayStation Spectral Super Resolution(PSSR)をはじめとする、AIを活用した次世代グラフィックス技術の研究開発に取り組んでいます。
 
本組織は、SIEとAMDの共同プロジェクト「Project Amethyst」の中核を担い、AIベースのグラフィックスSDKをゲーム開発者に提供することで、アーティストがより幅広く、豊かな表現を実現できるよう支援しています。その結果、世界中のプレイヤーにこれまでにないビジュアル体験を届けることを目指しています。
 
当部の業務範囲は多岐にわたり、アルゴリズム開発、性能評価、SDK実装、デモアプリ開発、学習データ収集環境の構築、およびゲーム開発者への導入支援までを担当します。開発から導入まで一貫して関わることで、幅広いスキルや経験を活かし、プロジェクト全体に貢献することができます。
その中で当課の業務範囲は、画質の主観・定量評価およびその評価指標開発、自動評価環境の構築、他社ベンチマークによる開発戦略の策定等、主にアルゴリズム性能評価を担当しています。評価・解析にとどまらず、上位の設計・開発にも携わることができます。
 
また、扱う技術領域が広いため、新しいスキルを習得する機会が豊富で、個々のキャリアプランに合わせた柔軟な成長環境を提供しています。
 
■職務内容
PlayStation用AIベースグラフィックSDKの性能評価および評価環境構築
 
■具体的な職務について
・AIベースのアルゴリズムでは学習結果に基づき、モデル性能が分散することが多々あります。最適モデルを選定するための定量指標を開発し、モデル性能を定量的に評価します
・多数のモデル候補から最適候補を抽出するための効率的テストシステム設計および実装を行います
・競合他社機能とベンチマークを実施し、モデル特徴を分析および考察し、開発戦略としてアルゴリズム開発チームへ提案します
・学習または評価には大量のシーンセットが必要です。GameEngineからシーンキャプチャを行ったり、大量のシーンセットを管理するDB構築・運用を行います
・AMDとの共同開発プロジェクトであるため、性能評価戦略や評価結果はAMDと共有します
 
■求められるスキル・技術領域
 
【必須(MUST)】
いずれにも合致すること
・C/C++ による開発経験 2~3年以上(実務・趣味問わず)
・Pythonを業務に使用した経験 2年以上
・画像処理・画像解析に関わる技術経験
 
【歓迎(WANT)】
・Machine Learningを利用したアプリケーション開発経験
・データベース設計・運用経験
・自動テスト環境構築経験
・GPUアーキテクチャ・GPUプログラミングへの知見
・Unreal Engine等のゲームエンジンの使用経験
 
【求める人物像】
・責任感があること
・相手を尊重しつつも自分の意見を丁寧に伝えられること
・論理的に物事を捉え、課題を洗い出し問題解決を探求できること
 
【求められる語学力】
・英語:メールやドキュメント、海外メンバーとのリモート会議などで英語を使います。
※TOEIC等での高得点は必要ありませんが、英語を使う事に抵抗ないことが求められます。
・日本語:日本語能力試験N1またはそれと同等以上
