Job Title: Cyber Defense Operations Manager
About the Role:
The Cyber Defense Operations Department is responsible for protecting RMI's information systems, telco networks, and data from cyber threats. This involves detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber attacks in real-time to minimize damage and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the Cybersecurity Operations team.
- Develop and implement strategies for protecting information systems and confidential data.
- Ensure the effectiveness of security measures and incident response.
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams and plan and execute security initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to a team of cybersecurity experts.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security operational processes (detection engineering, digital forensics, incident response, threat intelligence).
- Ensure swift response and mitigation preparations for cybersecurity incidents.
- Assess and report cybersecurity risks and recommend appropriate measures.
- Collaborate with other teams (security assurance, security infrastructure, cloud, BSS, OSS, management, stakeholders).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 14-18 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5-8 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on risk assessments and threat intelligence.
- Ability to adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats and technologies, staying current with industry trends and emerging risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical/IT field with 15 year or more of experience in Cyber Security domain.
- A master's degree is often preferred.
- Cloud Security experience in GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Knowledge of Containerization, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience in responding to incidents in a Linux & Container environment.
- Experience in the Telcom industry.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
