has approximately 100 million customers based in Japan and 1 billion customers globally, and provides more than 70 services in various fields such as e-commerce, payment services, financial services, communications, media, and sports.
Doing.Department Overview
Up until now, Rakuten has expanded its business scale with the shopping mall business "Rakuten Ichiba" and the credit card business "Rakuten Card" as the core, and has grown to sales of 800 billion yen and domestic transaction value of 8.8 trillion yen.
Going forward, Rakuten will make maximum use of its assets, such as Rakuten members, Rakuten points, brand strength, and member data, which it has cultivated mainly online, to create a more robust lifestyle, including offline life.
We have a vision to create a new business model that establishes the "Rakuten economic zone".
Within this, the Platform Business Strategy Division is an organization under the direct control of the COO and Vice President, and is responsible for promoting ecosystem growth strategies and measures centered on marketing across the Rakuten Group.
The growth of the entire ecosystem cannot be achieved by simply extending the optimization of individual businesses and services.
In addition, since Rakuten's ecosystem is huge and unique, its growth and competitive strategies will inevitably become new and dynamic.
For this reason, while directly discussing with the President and Executive Vice Presidents, I create strategies to solve the complex simultaneous equations of both company-wide growth and individual business growth on a daily basis.
The team is made up of a small number of elite individuals who have worked at a strategy consulting firm, and combines logical (left-brained) approaches such as Rakuten's big data analysis and insight research with intuitive (right-brained) approaches such as design thinking.

Position Details
We are looking for people who can contribute to the promotion of business using Rakuten Points, which are issued over 300 billion yen annually.
We are looking for someone who can play an active role as a senior class playing sales manager in the initial phase of business expansion.

Mandatory Qualifications
Senior class experience as sales (5 years or more sales experience)
Those who have sales experience utilizing multiple channels
Those who have the above sales experience in the IT and WEB related industries
Those who have experience in team management of a sales organization of about 5 to 15 people
Desired Qualifications
Experience in sales of products and solutions related to marketing, sales promotion, and advertising.
People who have sales experience for major clients
Experienced as a sales manager in a SaaS business
