Rakuten Group offers more than 70 diverse services, including the online shopping mall Rakuten Ichiba, e-commerce services such as the travel booking site Rakuten Travel, financial services such as Rakuten Bank, and professional sports.
Department Overview
The assignment will be to the Procurement Operation Dept, Rakuten Group, Inc. Procurement Operation Dept is responsible for entire Rakuten group procurement operation as centralized procurement function. Sourcing operation section is one of teams of Procurement Operation dept, which promote centralized sourcing activities like supplier selection and negotiation in conjunction with Requesting units.
We have plan to set up "IT Professional Service Category Management team" under Sourcing Operation Section to promote centralized IT Professional Service Category Procurement sourcing.
IT Professional Services primarily include, but are not limited to, the following services
1) System development outsourcing
2) SI
3) Managed Service
4) Other consulting services

- Visualize group IT Professional Service Spend and supplier contracts
- Develop IT Professional Service Category Sourcing Strategy and lead to execute
- Optimize overall IT Professional Service Spend , and lead Procurement Cost Saving initiatives
- Build strong relationship with key suppliers of IT Professional Service
- Lead alignment with internal stakeholders and related department
Work Environment
Around 80 people
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 3 years or more of working experience
- Able to communicate in business
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in establishment of Procurement rule and its execution
- Experience in Procurement of System Integration Service, Managed Service and Consulting Service
- Experience in RFP creation for service category
- Experience in Global Procurement
- Business English Capability
