Summary:

Position Summary:

We are seeking R&D documentation specialist candidates to support accelerated progress in the NPIs, specifically focusing on scale-up / mass-production in Ohta site.

The specialist will co-work with R&D scientists and Process technology engineers in the NPI projects and support standardization of NPI products by making of required documents and registering them into the system – they are SMI-0 (Production SOP) in scale-up stage and SMI-3 (Production SOP) in post launch review stage, TMI-4 documents (Packing Packaging change record SOP) for NPI products. Totally, the specialist will lead the registration work for NPI products and derivatives.
Simultaneously, the specialist will also make documents related to Quality control (QC) test including Standard test method (STM) for NPI products. These documents need to be updated in case of any changes (process, specification etc) happened. The specialist will revise and update these documents and register them into the system.

In addition, the specialist will enable to analyze manufacturing process capability of NPI products and support smooth proceeding to mass production stage of them with R&D/Process technology team.

The specialist will also maintain non-NPI related documentation, such as EHS training record and proceed with digitalization project while coworking with documentation specialists in Ohta R&D Center.

The specialist needs to have broader range of product knowledge and process knowledge for the documentation and registration procedures smoothly to respond R&D/Process technology team's request.

It is desirable that this position has a good relationship of trust with R&D/Process technology team as well as MFG/Engineering team.

さらに、スペシャリストは、NPI 製品の製造プロセス能力を分析し、R&D/プロセステクノロジーチームとともにそれらの量産段階へのスムーズな移行をサポートします。

スペシャリストは、太田 R&D センターのNPI に関連しないEHS トレーニング記録などの文書も維持し、文書スペシャリストと共同作業しながらデジタル化プロジェクトを進めます。

スペシャリストは、R&D/プロセステクノロジーチームの要求にスムーズに対応するために、文書化と登録手続きに関する幅広い製品知識とプロセス知識を持っている必要があります。

このポジションでは、R&D/プロセステクノロジーチームだけでなく、製造/生産技術チームとも良好な信頼関係を築くことが望ましいです。

Responsibilities Include:

Tasks and responsibilities of the position:

NPI related documentations : Conduct required documentations (SMI-0/SMI-3, TMI-4, QC test related include STM) and registrations on time requested by R&D scientists/Process technology engineers and upload them into determined systems (SAP, W-easy and Local Mfg manual system)

Lead registration of NPI products and derivatives

Analyze manufacturing process capability of NPI products before mass production stage.

Lead communication of R&D/Process technology team with MFG/Eng'g team if we have process changes and re-documentation.

Non-NPI related documentation: Conduct required documentations on time (EHS activity record, Training record etc.) and store the documents in the designated common folders. Proceed with digitalization of laboratory notebook or other paper documents.

Support R&D initiative related to NPI system enhancement ; Data collection from the documents/data analysis supports (requested by project leader)

Key Matrics Role is Accountable For:

#of key documents (SMI, TMI, QC test related) newly created (# of request from R&D/Process technology team), # of key documents revised, Zero incident/injury along with EHS regulation

R&D scientists, Process technology engineers, MFG/Engineering team, R&D leadership team, R&D EHS team

NPI に関連しない文書作成: 必要な文書作成 (EHS 活動記録、トレーニング記録など) を時間どおりに実施し、指定された共通フォルダーに文書を保存します。実験ノートやその他の紙の文書のデジタル化を進めます。

NPI システム強化に関連する R&D イニシアチブをサポートします。文書からのデータ収集/データ分析をサポートします (プロジェクトリーダーの要求による)

Key Metrics Role is Accountable For:

新たに作成された主要文書(SMI、TMI、QCテスト関連)の数(R&D /プロセステクノロジーチームからのリクエストの数)、改訂された主要文書の数、EHS規制に沿った事故/負傷ゼロ

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

Minimum Qualifications:

BS or equivalent knowledge level in technical documentation work with 5+ years MPM Ohta experience.

Excellent documentation skills

Excellent communication skill (by Japanese) with R&D/Process technology team and MFG/Eng'g team

Strong EHS and safety ethics, drive excellent housekeeping standards in work areas.

Statistics and data analysis knowledge.

Strong teamwork, ability to provide support work in R&D organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good English communication skill – reading / writing and speaking.

Minimum Qualifications:
