Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in customer-facing services, focused on translating enterprise customer needs into cloud solutions (e.g., IaaS, SaaS).
• Experience writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C, C++, etc.).
• Experience in developing solution architectures through system design techniques (e.g., distributed systems, designing a system under certain constraints, simplicity, limitations, and tradeoffs).
• Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently in order to engage local customers and cross-regional stakeholders.
• Ability to travel upto 20% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience architecting and developing software or internet-scale production-grade infrastructure/migration solutions in virtualized environments, and demonstrated cloud architectural expertise with a broad set of enterprise use cases.
• Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, and third-party developers to deliver successful solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying distributed data processing systems.
• Experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, or Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), data protection, encryption, certificate, and key management.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

Responsibilities

• Provide skills and leadership to customers on enterprise-wide cloud architecture and migration planning for scoping during both the presales process and delivery.
• Recommend and document migration paths, integration strategies, and application architectures required to successfully implement complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud, while driving the capture, development, and sharing of best practices internally and externally to scale expertise to accelerate implementation.
• Engage at executive technical stakeholder level with customers providing a single technical point of contact for the customer into the consulting delivery team.
• Provide technical architecture and enterprise-wide Google Cloud subject matter expertise.
• Oversee technical delivery excellence, exceptional customer satisfaction, and accurate estimation of customer outcomes in partnership with the Delivery Executive and Program Manager.
