Job DescriptionJob Summary:
We are seeking a bilingual with strong Level 2 support expertise in Java and AWS Cloud to join our Open Systems Application Management Services team under the Managed Services model, 4 to 5 years of experience in Insurance domain would be a must.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational stability and performance of cloud-based applications, while effectively collaborating with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2 support for Java-based applications hosted on AWS Cloud.
Monitor application health, respond to incidents, and resolve service requests within defined SLAs.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with Japanese-speaking clients and internal teams to troubleshoot and enhance application performance.
Participate in change management, release coordination, and deployment activities.
Maintain support documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and incident management processes.
Language Skills:
Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N4/N3+ level.
Ability to communicate effectively with Japanese clients and multicultural teams.
Support Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
Experience in production support environments.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
AWS certification (Associate or Professional level) is a plus.
Experience in ITIL-based support environments.
