Job Title: Executive Chef

Fairmont Tokyo, a luxurious hotel located in the heart of Tokyo, seeks an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our pre-opening team.

We are looking for a talented individual who can lead our culinary team and create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-end restaurants and hotels, with a proven track record of success in menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff management.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of Fairmont Tokyo's culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the culinary team and oversee kitchen operations
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and creative flavor combinations
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Manage staff performance, provide coaching and training as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in high-end restaurants or hotels
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Estimated Salary: ¥8,000,000 - ¥12,000,000 per year
