The Research Direction Section within the Marketing Solutions Business plays a crucial core role in supporting the Rakuten Insight business by collecting the data that clients require. Furthermore, this organization is tasked with budget and resource management, as well as improving productivity and quality.
To maintain the efficiency of our business processes, we are also committed to challenging ourselves to improve productivity through automation and to realize the creation of smarter and simpler outputs.

Through this series of tasks, one can acquire skills such as logical thinking, the ability to perform multi-task operations, negotiation skills with stakeholders, and knowledge of marketing research.
Position Details
We will handle the entire Internet research project by acting as an intermediary between the client, our sales department, and each department within the company.
We can take pride in our work because the products and services we surveyed are introduced to the world and spread.
We have already received many inquiries from leading companies in each industry as partners.
Clients include general companies such as manufacturers, advertising agencies, think tanks, research companies, and government agencies.
Specifically
We will guide you through confirmation of survey forms of Internet research, creation of questionnaire screen, distribution, aggregation, delivery work.
1. Get an overview of the entire survey.
2. Scrutinize the questionnaire containing the question items of the questionnaire and confirm it with the client.
3. When the survey form is confirmed, instruct the team that creates the survey screen to create it.
4. When the questionnaire screen is up, check the survey specifications and contents, request the client to confirm, and correct any corrections.
5. We will deliver the questionnaire to the questionnaire monitor and collect the answers.
6. If data aggregation is required, we will request the aggregation team to do the aggregation, and after the aggregation, the director will deliver it.
7. If the client needs a report, the researcher will create a report and deliver it to the client.
* 1 to 7 will be completed in 2 to 3 business days at the shortest. Accurate and speedy response is important.
* We use multiple in-house systems.
Work Environment
Research Direction Section is an organization of 35 people, and you will be assigned to a team where approximately 70% of the members are Research Directors.
Including domestic and international partner companies, our organizational structure exceeds 120 people. We highly value smooth communication and teamwork in carrying out our operations.

Background of existing employees
Marketing or research experience is not required, and over three-quarters of the department's employees are mid-career hires.
We actively recruit individuals new to the industry, and indeed, the current research directors come from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Good communication skills (Able to explain using logical and well-organized sentences and speaking styles. Can understand speech and the flow of discussions.)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in coordinating and handling projects between clients and internal members (e.g., in editing, production, web directing, etc.) is welcome, but above all, we are looking for someone with an interest in marketing research
- Ability to perform multi-task operations
- Ability to cooperate with team members and work towards achieving business goals
