Department Overview
The Logistics Business is a division established to build the foundation for next-generation e-commerce by considering the ideal role Rakuten's logistics should play throughout the entire supply chain, from product arrival to delivery to end users. We currently provide the following two services:

• We provide a wide range of services, from sales to service and business planning, for logistics services (Rakuten Super Logistics) for clients who open stores on Rakuten Ichiba.
• We act as a 3PL partner, coordinating with the logistics departments of Rakuten's first-party e-commerce sites, such as Rakuten 24 and Rakuten Fashion.

In July 2021, Rakuten Group, Inc. and Japan Post Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd., will establish a new company, " JP Rakuten Logistics, Inc." By incorporating our investment and development of labor-saving, automated logistics centers into Japan Post's delivery network and jointly operating them, we will achieve logistics DX and aim to improve customer UX, shorten lead times, increase logistics efficiency, and maximize capacity.

Position Details
You will be responsible for resolving business and management issues to ensure the smooth operation of the logistics business, as well as general management and project management.

Major Duties

• Formulating and executing business strategies and plans
• Planning logistics business plans, formulating budgets, and setting and managing KPIs.
• Project promotion and management
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to lead projects to resolve business issues.
• Collaborating with external partners
• Negotiating and building relationships with new and existing 3PLs and vendors.

Mandatory Qualifications
