Resident EngineerはValeoの公式代表としてお客様の拠点に常駐し、製品・サービスの品質確認、技術支援、そしてコミュニケーションのハブとなる重要なポジションです。
顧客満足度の向上と信頼関係の構築をミッションとし、製品品質・納品条件・技術仕様などに関する迅速かつ正確な情報連携を担います。

■ Position Overview
You will be part of the Computer Vision team, which plays a key role in supporting next-generation mobility through advanced automated parking assistant systems.
This is a highly visible and impactful role where you will be responsible for ensuring product and service quality, providing technical support, and acting as a communication hub between the customer and Valeo's internal teams.
Your mission is to enhance customer satisfaction and build a strong relationship of trust, by facilitating fast and accurate information flow related to product quality, delivery conditions, and technical specifications.
Customer Interface & Communication
Build strong relationships through daily interactions and timely updates.
Technical Support & Quality Assurance
Provide on-site technical support and confirm the quality of delivered products and services.
Project Support
Assist with customer project alignment, milestone tracking, and requirement validation.
Internal-External Coordination
Act as a bridge between Valeo teams and customer organizations, facilitating clear and continuous communication and issue resolution.
■ Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, especially in ADAS-related projects
Proven experience in customer-facing roles and handling issues on-site (e.g., at manufacturing or development facilities)
Japanese~Naitive level / English~ Business level
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to accurately identify problems and convey them internally and externally
■ Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Valeo products and systems, including ECUs, sensors, and cameras
Prior experience in resident-type roles or customer on-site projects
Experience working in cross-cultural or multinational teams
