  • Propose and implement portfolio allocation and investment/disposal strategies, taking into account real estate market conditions, fund's and investors' requirements
  • Manage and oversee processes for asset management and budgeting (Asset Plans/property business plans including leasing assumptions, capex budget, opex budget, exit strategy...) with the support of asset managers
  • Analyse portfolio and propose the fund's asset management strategy
  • Prepare key reporting deliverables to investors (real estate markets, asset management initiatives, acquisition and disposal program, real estate performance,...)
  • Forecasting/budgeting/controlling: Assist in the follow up of the cash flows of the fund, property business plans and analyse portfolio, and accounting budget
  • Transactions: Contribute to the closing of the transactions by providing cash flow modelling, sources and uses analyses, IC memo
  • Financing: Assist in setting up external financing
  • Administrative/legal/process: Assist in setting up and implementing procedures for the fund (regulatory requirements...)
  • Business development: Assist in developing a third-party platform in Japan
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time, including in the Asia-Pacific region

    Education/Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance/Investment Management/Real Estate

    • Experience

  • First relevant experience in real estate transactions in a variety of asset classes
  • Some previous experience in in Audit, Controlling, Investment Banking or Fund Management (ideally with real estate related experience)

    • Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of real estate (players, product and markets) is desired
  • Excellent financial, legal and technical grounding and ability to understand all aspects of a transaction in order to identify potential risks
  • Analytical skills IT skills (cash flow analysis and forecast)
  • Fluency in Japanese and English

    • Competencies

  • Ability to work on a multicultural and highly international environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible and open-minded with the ability to understand the philosophy and cultural nuances between the various markets
