Bilingual Project Manager to lead and manage projects focused on Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Microsoft tools and services, excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, and proven experience managing global and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Plan, execute, and deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
Ensure compliance with governance and quality standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
Primary liaison between internal teams in Japan, offshore teams, and global stakeholders in HQ.
Facilitate bilingual communication and reporting.
Technical Leadership:
Oversee implementation and support of Microsoft technologies including Windows 10, Surface devices, Office 365, SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), Intune, Azure Active Directory, Desktop Virtualization, and Modern Workplace solutions.
Governance & Documentation:
Maintain accurate project documentation, risk registers, and progress reports.
Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
Technical Expertise:
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft tools:
Active Directory (AD), SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, Office 365.
Hands-on experience with Windows 10, Surface, MEM, Azure AD, Desktop Virtualization, Modern Workplace.
Core Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services and Azure Identity & Security.
Strong knowledge of Group Policies, Logon Scripts, and PowerShell scripting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
Language Proficiency:
Japanese and English bilingual (JLPT N2 or N3 preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Microsoft Certified Intune / SCCM Administrator.
Experience in Modern Workplace transformation projects.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile methodologies.
