About The Role
In this pivotal position, you'll split your expertise between Engineering & Construction (50%) and Renewable Energy (50%), creating tailored insurance solutions while driving business growth through strategic client relationships and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through targeted marketing to intermediaries and direct corporate client engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned target accounts, serving as their primary point of contact
- Analyze and assess technical insurability of submissions, making strategic decisions on terms and conditions
- Structure programs and prepare quotations in accordance with company guidelines
- Participate in deal teams to execute complex transactions that align with business objectives
- Manage Natural Catastrophe risk accumulation in coordination with Group guidelines and expert opinions
- Attend industry events and conduct site visits to strengthen market presence and technical knowledge
- Collaborate effectively with internal specialists and global teams to support underwriting processes
- Maintain accurate risk information in company systems and handle account administration

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Meet These Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Science
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken)
- Fluent English communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Nice To Have
- 3+ years of experience in engineering/plant industries or (re)insurance sectors
- Specific experience with Renewable Energy, Engineering, or Property insurance
- Background in the construction industry
- Self-organization and effective task management skills
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in multicultural or global environments
