About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused AWS Infrastructure Architect to join our growing cloud team in Tokyo.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS cloud architectures.
This role will involve working on AWS Landing Zone setup using Control Tower, multi-account strategy design, and ensuring compliance with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
As an AWS Solution Architect, you will bring deep technical expertise, a passion for cloud innovation, and a consultative mindset to design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable solutions on the AWS platform.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement AWS Landing Zones using Control Tower and multi-account strategies.
Define and build secure, resilient, and scalable architectures aligned with AWS best practices.
Oversee cloud migration projects, including private cloud to AWS migrations.
Implement security and compliance frameworks, leveraging AWS services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, and IAM.
Architect networking solutions using VPC, CloudWAN, Transit Gateway, and routing best practices.
Develop automation frameworks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform (Terraform Enterprise preferred).
Contribute to the adoption of containerization (ECS/EKS) and serverless computing (Lambda, Step Functions).
Monitor and maintain AWS environments using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Config.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Stay up to date with emerging AWS services, trends, and best practices.
Required Experience
Total Experience: 12–15 years in IT infrastructure delivery, cloud migration, and architecture roles.
Relevant Experience:
Minimum of 6–8 years as an AWS Infrastructure Architect, with strong hands-on experience in:
AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies, Control Tower
CloudWAN, Transit Gateway, and VPC setup
AWS Security Services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc.)
Private cloud migration to AWS
IaC using Terraform (Terraform Enterprise preferred) and Harness (nice to have)
Mandatory Skills
AWS Services Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of EC2, VPC, IAM, and related AWS offerings.
Cloud Architecture Design:
Ability to create highly available, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions.
Security & Compliance:
Strong understanding of IAM, VPC security groups, and AWS compliance frameworks.
Networking:
Deep knowledge of VPCs, subnets, routing tables, gateways, and CloudWAN.
Automation & Scripting:
Experience with Terraform and automated provisioning.
Monitoring & Logging:
Proficiency with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
Migration Expertise:
Proven success in hybrid and private-to-public cloud migrations.
Containerization & Serverless:
Experience with Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex cloud environments.
Continuous Learning:
Commitment to keeping skills current with AWS technologies.
