The Role
This position will manage a portfolio of the assigned properties, ensuring proper upkeep of engineering and building systems, managing and overseeing the performance of service providers, supervising arrears management processes and managing budgets versus expenses and handle ESG and sustainability related activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and improvement works.
- Perform regular site walks and inspect the condition of the property and highlight works to be carried out where necessary.
- Manage the maintenance service providers and obtain quotes for maintenance/improvement works where necessary.
- Perform completion checks for various works.
- Monitor term contracts and ensure works are performed properly whilst managing cost efficiency.
- Respond to tenant feedback and manage tenant-landlord relationships.
- Facilitate the process of handover/handover of premises from tenants and coordinate tenant facilities.
- Assist in preparing and following up materials for credit control review meetings and management meetings.
- Coordinate and scope specifications for execution of procurement activities within the team.
- Support the manager with the budgeting process and manage performance.
- Consider and implement CO2 reduction measures including energy reduction, water saving and track performance.
- PM report preparation
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in property management and familiar with local building codes and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of potential work hazards, safety procedures and public safety matters.
- Thorough working knowledge of modern architectural, plumbing, sanitary, mechanical and electrical principles and procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience with SAP is a plus.
- A good team player with strong initiative, responsibility, communication and interpersonal skills.
